Hate cold showers after a dip in the pool? So do we! That’s why the MILLIARD Solar Shower is just what you need to wash off at the temperature that’s “just right.” The Solar Disc Shower heats the water coming from your garden hose by spreading it out and presenting it to direct sunlight so it warms more quickly before coming out of the shower head. As water enters the heater, it travels around a specially designed coil that absorbs light and heat from the sun. The water is quickly warmed as it travels through the coil and exits the shower head at up to 5°F warmer – with no electricity or wires! Just place the heater in a sunlit area, connect it to your existing garden hose, and you’re ready to go! For best results, place the heater in an area that is exposed to continuous direct sunlight and let it warm up for at least 30 min before using. All MILLIARD products are manufactured with safety, quality, and comfort in mind and we are glad to make our consumers’ satisfaction our #1 goal.

The control valve was faulty, though, and would not cut off the flow when turned off. It did balance the hot-cold flow and a secondary on-off valve was an easy add-on in the hose line, easier than return the item or waiting for a replacement part. The hose connection is pretty awkward since it’s so short that it almost requires the lifting of the base. That’s not very easy when it’s full of water. On the plus…

Does not connect to a regular garden hose and it broke after 3 days, still very elegant and nice. It took me forever to buy the connector for my garden hose to hook to the shower. It leaks from the base when it is on. 3 day after I used for the first time the short hose at the base got a big hole and all The water leaked in the yard before we saw it. I need to go back to Home Depot again to buy another connector from my hose to the base. It does not connect to the garden hose as processed. no such a good quality and to big to return. The water was warm when it worked. It looks very elegant…
