Anyone wishing to cool their house with solar power would have a solar … This product is a scam. It has no solar panels, batteries, or adapter to plug into household current. It is simply a 16,000 BTU window air conditioner that runs on 48 VDC. And it costs more than four times an equivallent 120 VAC. Anyone wishing to cool their house with solar power would have a solar panel system feeding their entire house including the 240 VAC central air conditioning system for maximum efficiency in air distribution. A 48 VDC window AC has no role in this goal.
