Good Value! I had been debating for quite sometime now whether to buy a Mono-crystalline or Poly-crystalline based solar panel for a solar hobby project. To give you a background, I am an electronics hobbyist & understand these technologies quite well and while I do not call myself a ‘SOLAR’ expert (yet) I do know what to expect out of an ‘ECO’-budget friendly all-in-one kit like this from RENOGY.

Perfect for RV I just got this kit in time to use it on a 5-day 4-night boondocking camping trip. So, with this weather being the worst possible scenario, it’s the best conditions for trying it out. The weather won’t be above freezing the entire time, and the temps will go as low as 6 degrees at night. If I can maintain enough battery power to get through this, it will be a breeze getting through a similar trip in much milder weather (which most of my trips are). I have it connected to two 6V golf cart…

Great for my workshop This kit seems to function as specified. I ran the battery bank down just to test how well it would recharge my battery bank, and I have to say it did well. I work in my workshop/shed often and decided to go off the grid with it. So you could say I am experimenting with this kit to see how well it would do. Since I only have an 800 watt inverter I am not able to run miter saw but can run other equipment such as radio, hand saw, saber, and drill, recharge other equipment plus a tv with small…
